As many of you know the Local organizes an annual charity golf tournament. In the past, we have picked the benefactor on a yearly basis. This year we have placed the responsibility of the organization of the tournament with the combined Community Services/Membership Committee and we have changed the way we pick the charity.
This year the committee is excited to announce a partnership with The LMK Foundation (https://www.thelmkfoundation.org/) which we hope will continue into the future.
The LMK Foundation is a local charitable organization which raises and distributes money to a variety of charities and individual causes and thus will allow us to touch more people with the monies that we raise. This year a large portion of our proceeds will go to benefit Feed Our Vets (https://feedourvets.org/) which is based in New York Mills.
